Welcome to NetPlace

The place for all young network scientists

The aim of NetPlace is to provide a friendly place for students and early-career researchers in Network Science from all over the world to interact. Not only do we talk about our research, but we also discuss various challenges and difficulties we face in our journey to become a network scientist.

We organize community events that bring early-career researchers together to exchange ideas, build connections, and support one another. Whether at conferences such as NetSci and NetSciX or through other initiatives, our activities range from scientific discussions and career-oriented conversations to interactive and social events designed to strengthen our community.

Our goal is to create spaces where young researchers can connect with each other and with senior scientists, discuss the challenges facing our field, and contribute to shaping a more inclusive and supportive future for network science.
